About Me

For more than 17 years, my family has owned and operated a Wedding Chapel that was built (by hand!) as a labor of love by my father for my mother for their thirtieth wedding anniversary, on their 7-acre lushly landscaped private country estate in Western Chicago land. We have had the honor of sharing in more than a thousand wedding ceremonies at the wedding chapel and wedding gazebo, ranging from traditional to non-traditional, and drawing on the wedding traditions and rituals of beliefs from around the world.  In 2010, we added a banquet hall for wedding receptions.

Marriage is the first significant commitment in a person’s life, but eventually it is merely one of many. As you age, your life becomes a process of balancing and blending all your various commitments and expectations, so that the resulting collage truly represents yourself. I will use my extensive experience both in weddings and from my professional life, to ensure that the planning of this event proceeds smoothly and efficiently, but I also will endeavor to ensure that this preparation is fun for you — so that the memory of preparing for your wedding is as enjoyable as the wedding itself.
